  • Overview

    Our Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Program Manager is responsible for the continued development and enhancement of the company’s D&I and CSR strategy. The program manager will support the development and execution of strategic initiatives and programs in alignment with the company’s D&I and CSR goals to include; training/education, workforce partnerships, employee engagement and environmental awareness. The position will also be responsible for developing training and initiatives to create and foster an open and inclusive environment. The position will serve as the HR ombudsman for diversity issues. This position is ideally located in our corporate office in Hanover, Maryland, but we will also consider candidates in Chicago and Washington, D.C. 


    Essential Functions: 

    • Leverage subject matter expertise of D&I to drive strategy and execution at MLA/AP
    • Assist with development of targeted initiatives to foster a more diverse and inclusive environment
    • Collaborate with the Management team and marketing to design, implement and monitor campaigns to effectively drive awareness of D&I and CSR programs
    • Structure and manage MLA/AP’s Diversity Council and employee-led groups, and drive success of initiatives and task force plans
    • Partner with the IR team to understand, analyze and enhance the diverse candidate pipeline and increase the overall number of diverse recruiters. Responsible for data analytics/tracking and reporting around diversity and inclusion and CSR
    • Partner with talent development team to enhance D&I learning opportunities, including the development and facilitation of workshops, educational platforms, tools and other learning methods to build inclusive leadership skills that lead to improved business outcomes
    • Support strategic D&I and CSR objectives by identifying opportunities with nonprofit organizations that align with corporate goals of promoting a diverse workforce, recruitment and retention
    • Assist with the management of the overall MLA/AP CSR strategy and budget and partner with local offices to help drive value add local partnerships supportive of our CSR strategic pillars including global engagement with our locations in EMEA and APAC.
    • Assist with the management of community partners, volunteer efforts and our employee giving and matching program
    • Serves as the HR ombudsman for diversity issues for all aspects of MLA and AP
    • Participates on committees and special projects
    • Other duties as assigned



    Minimum Education and/or Experience: 

    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 3-5 years of experience in D&I and/or CSR (can include ERG/D&I Council participation)
    • Prior HR or Employee Experience Program Management experience desired
