  • Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Practice Specialist to join our Law Firm Recruiting Group

The Sourcing Specialist, known as a Practice Specialist (PS) at MLA, is part of the Associate Practice Group at MLA.  The PS connects with Associate level attorneys to begin a dialogue about new career opportunities, to discuss a pre-determined law firm need, or to provide legal market insight. The goal of the Practice Specialist is to both strategically source and begin the process of building long-term relationships with lawyers.  The Practice Specialist works as a team together with highly successful Recruiters and is responsible for setting up meetings for any potential candidates interested in next steps.

    Responsibilities

The PS will collaborate with a team of recruiters to determine the strategy for each call campaign. With an understanding of the strategy, the PS will conduct preliminary research in our database to identify appropriate attorneys to call.  The PS then reaches out to these attorneys to build rapport and relationships, and ideally introduces interested candidates to his or her team. The PS schedules introductory meetings for recruiters, ensures follow-up actions are completed, and records information about the candidate in our database.
